An RSS reader automatically displays new blog posts from all of your favorite sites in one location making it very easy to stay up to date with many sites at once. My personal favorite reader is Google Reader. It's great for me because it's web-based. This means that I can use it at work, at home, or on my phone and it stays synced. Many other programs like Outlook 2007 and Internet Explorer can also work as an RSS reader for you.
